Whither art thou Marakon

Two years, merger to bankruptcy? Ouch. Can anyone from Marakon weigh in and explain what's happening inside its "operating subsidiaries"? As near as I can tell, IFL is a non-entity (their website is now a Network Solutions parking page), which would imply that Trinsum is nothing else but Marakon, its consulting subsidiary.

NEW YORK -- Marakon, the international management consultancy and Integrated Finance Limited (IFL), a financial advisory firm, are merging. The transaction is scheduled to close by the end of January subject to the receipt of required regulatory approvals. - Trinsum.com, January 24, 2007
Trinsum Group, Inc., a holding company, announced this week that it has filed a voluntary petition under Chapter 11 of the Federal Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York. The Chapter 11 proceeding does not include the Company's operating subsidiaries, including its consulting subsidiary, and their operations will not be affected. Trinsum.com, January 30, 2009
